It's that after all these years, it's still scattered all around and most tutorials either left me with too many options (should I use 3DCoat because everyone seems to use it? or should I use Blender because more recent tutorials seem to adopt it to make skins? Or should I use all of them together because some skin makers boast about using so many programs?) or simply left me scratching my head thinking "well, is that all I need to know or do I need to know more?". And it's not that there is not enough information about it on the internet. My biggest problem with learning how to create skins was figuring out and organizing all the steps you need to go through in order to create a playable skin - from having a design idea to actually making a proper submission.
